Ahead of the pivotal 2022 midterm elections, NowThis hosted an exclusive forum with Joe Biden, his first with young people as president. As lead copy editor for the event, I copy edited and fact-checked everything from the landing page and associated materials to the full hourlong video and various follow-up pieces.
The NowThis series “Who Is?” explored key political figures and their often complicated histories. This series was written with a very specific voice, so editing the episodes required ensuring factual accuracy while maintaining the playful tone the audience loved.
